21-25.08 the Moscow State University hosted the International Symposium on Magnetism

 
   
  From 21 to 25 August 2011 the Moscow State University hosted the International Symposium on Magnetism MISM-2011. At the opening of the Symposium opening speeches were:
  • The head of the Department of Magnetism of Physics Department of M.V.Lomonosov Moscow State University Professor A.Vedyaev
  • Professor N.Perov - from the organizing committee
  • Vice-president of Russian Magnetic Society, AMT&C LLC General Director, Professor A.Tishin - from the Magnetic Society of Russia
  • Corresponding Member of the Division of Physical Sciences of RAS, Chairman of the Section Magnetism of Scientific Council on Condensed Matter Physics of RAS, Professor L.Prozorova - from the Russian Academy of Sciences
  • and others...
The symposium brought together in this year the record number of participants. The scientific program was opened by a lecture of the Nobel Prize K. Novoselov about magnetic properties of graphene. AMT&C company presented a new modification of the adjustable magnetic field source based on permanent magnets, that is already used by many research groups which presented their results at the Symposium.
