Members of AMT&C Group participated in XVIII International conference on permanent magnets
The organizers of the conference were:
• Research Council of the Russian Academy of Sciences;
• National University of Science and Technology «MISIS»;
• Mining and Metallurgical Section of Russian Academy of Natural Sciences.
Leading experts from Russia, Ukraine, Germany, Japan and other countries in the field of magnetic materials and industrial applications of permanent magnets took part in the conference. The number of participants of the conference was nearly 150 people. From the AMTC group took part 31 members – the biggest delegation of all enterprises and organizations of the participants. One of the sponsors of the conference was an enterprise of AMTS, LLC "Polimagnit."
The conference was held in four sections:
1. The physics of magnetic phenomena, reversal processes and the structure of alloys for permanent magnets.
2. Physical basis of production process of permanent magnets.
3. Magnetic measurements: physics, engineering, metrology and certification.
4. Calculations and modeling of magnetic systems. The use of permanent magnets.
There were presented three reports from the AMTC group. Two reports were made at the plenary session:
1. A. M. Tishin, S. Tukaeva:
"Rare earths - the manufacture, use, perspectives";
2. M. M. Nadeev, M. A. Demesh, A. M. Tishin, I. V. Stepanova:
"The specifics of the permanent magnets market in China,"
and one report – on section:
3. A.M. Tishin, Y.I. Spichkin "Magnetic hyperthermia."
