In the online journal "Science and Technology of Russia" published an article devoted to the technology developed by LLC "FTM" for wireless transmission of energy using longer wavelengths.
In this article vice president of Russian Magnetic Society, professor of Moscow State University Physics Department and general director of innovative company "FTM" Dr. Alexander Tishin said that the use of long waves to transmit energy has many advantages over the short waves, which we now use. Long waves practically not absorbed by reducing the skin effect which present in all things and causing damping effect of electromagnetic waves as the penetration depth of the conducting medium. Due to diffraction effects, long waves can bend around objects, which means that the energy consumer don't need to be in the field of view of the power source. Besides, long waves virtually harmless to the organism. All this allows us to speak about the great prospects of their application.
LLC "FMT" is developing a new material that can be used as a coating for antennas that can provide them with work in the wavelength range. The new material is a special multi-layer coating with the use of a specially textured magnetic and dielectric components.
The LLC "FMT" company is a part of Trinity innovation cluster, functioning with the support of the Center for Innovative Development and the Department of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship in Moscow and engaged.
